Pôvodca odpadu je povinný v prípade záujmu o zrealizovanie vývozu komunálneho odpadu svoju zbernú nádobu umiestniť mimo priestor obvyklého stojiska zbernej nádoby najneskôr v deň konania vývozu.

Pri použití zberných nádob o objeme 110 L, 120 L, 240 L a 1100 L je frekvencia vývozu pre fyzické osoby ľubovoľná, najčastejšie však jeden krát za dva týždne v letnom období (apríl - október) a jeden krát za týždeň v zimnom období (november – marec), pre právnické osoby jeden krát týždenne počas celého roka.
