V tento deň prebieha zvoz pre:
Čím viac vytriedime, tým budeme menej platiť.
V obci sa zavádza zber triedeného odpadu: 1. Papier 2. Plasty 3. Sklo 4. Kovové obaly 5. Viacvrstvový materiál 6. Elektroodpad
Obec Brieštie sa podľa zákona č. 369/1990 Zb. o obecnom zriadení v znení neskorších predpisov a podľa zákona č. 79/2015 Z. z. o odpadoch a o zmene a doplnení niektorých zákonov, ktorý nadobúda účinnosť od 1.7.2016 musí zapojiť do zberu triedeného odpadu. Podľa zákona o odpadoch sa poplatok za uloženie komunálneho odpadu na skládku zvyšuje z dnešných 8 € za tonu na 50 € za tonu, a preto sa v našej obci zavádza triedený zber viacerých odpadov.
Obec je zakladajúca obec VEPOSu HT a záujemca o využívanie verejnoprospešných služieb poskytovaných zo strany VEPOSu HT.
